SERVICES
I offer a range of services to support you with your wellbeing.
For clients who want to work in a focused way on a specific issue I offer single session therapy.
For clients who think they will need more than one session I offer ongoing therapy.
For clients who have experienced the death of a loved one or other significant loss I offer bereavement counselling.
Are you facing a specific issue and want immediate, meaningful support without committing to ongoing counselling?
My Single Session Therapy service offers a powerful, one-off session to help you gain clarity, find direction, and feel emotionally supported.
Single session therapy is focused stand-alone session designed to support you with a current concern, emotional challenge, or life decision. While some clients find one session is enough, you’re always welcome to book additional sessions in the future — as and when needed.
This can be especially useful if you:
- Feel stuck with tasks or motivation and want help moving forward.
- Need space to reflect on a personal or professional decision.
- Are struggling with a recent loss, crisis, or life transition.
- Feel overwhelmed by sudden changes in your daily focus or energy.
- Want therapeutic support but can’t commit to regular sessions.
- Are curious about therapy and want to try it out.
Once you have decided that you want Single session therapy, I will send you a contract to sign, on receipt of the signed contract we will then make an appointment. To help you get the most out of our session I will send you a short ‘Pre-Session Questionnaire’ which I ask you to complete and return to me. This helps us both prepare for the session and get the most out of it.
The session (by zoom) lasts for up to 50 minutes. At the end of the session, you will be much clearer about the way forward and have a practical sense of your next steps.
At the beginning of the session, I will check your understanding of the purpose of the session and what you want to take away from it. This means we are both focused on the issue you want help with from the start. During the session I will keep us both focused.
If you find the need for more sessions, then these are available at an additional cost.
Ongoing therapy is for you if you think that you need time to talk about and deal effectively with your concerns.
You will have more time to delve deeper into your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, to understand and address various, emotional, mental, and interpersonal issues that impact your well-being and quality of life.
This consistent space can be especially supportive if you are navigating the unique friction of midlife. If you are experiencing sudden, frustrating changes in your concentration, daily motivation, or energy levels—or feeling completely lost at a job you used to handle with ease—ongoing therapy provides a warm environment to unpack these shifts, rebuild your confidence, and find your bearings again.
There are many ways to work therapeutically including working more creatively, all involve being truly heard without judgment. When we first meet, we will talk about what you want from your counselling, your goals and how you want to feel. You are the best expert on you.
You will have the opportunity to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I will listen to you and through discussions and reflections facilitate a deeper understanding of your concerns. This self-exploration is often a key aspect of gaining insight and understanding. This increased awareness can facilitate positive changes.
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes.
Are you experiencing grief following the death of a loved one or other significant loss?
Grief is a natural response to loss; it can be a deeply challenging and emotional journey. Many people find being able to talk about their feelings, memories, and concerns related to their loss helps them to navigate their grief and find a path towards healing and acceptance.
This type of counselling is highly individualised, recognising that every person’s grief experience is unique. Alongside the profound sadness of losing someone close to you, midlife often brings overlapping layers of loss—such as aging parents, changing family roles, or quietly grieving a past version of yourself when your focus and energy levels shift. This space is here to support you through all of these transitions.
Bereavement counselling can encompass a range of therapeutic approaches, including talk therapy, art therapy, and other modalities, depending on your needs and preferences. The goal is to provide comfort and support, promote the processing of your grief, and assist you to find your way to honour and remember your loved one whilst rebuilding your life.
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes.
