SERVICES

Understanding Therapy

If you have a specific issue that can be tackled in a focused way then single session therapy may be right for you.

If following the session you need further time a follow up session can be arranged.

Some issues need more time to explore and you may want more than one session to talk about them.

Ongoing therapy will give you may well be right for you.

Have you experienced the death of a loved one or the loss of something important to you? Are you trying to make sense of many emotions? Bereavement counselling can help you to do this.

TALKING THERAPY

Very often we don’t have someone we can completely share our innermost thoughts and emotions with. Talking to a good friend or family member can help but can you express your deepest feelings to them?

A trained therapist will have no judgement about what you want to share and will  provide a safe and confidential space for you to discuss and explore your feelings. They won’t tell you what to do or give you advice but they will encourage you to talk about what’s bothering you and help you to find your way forward.

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”

Carl Rogers
